Welcome to the Trinco Civic Hub

The Trinco Civic Hub is a digital collaboration platform established by the Serving Humanity Foundation under the Digital Democracy Initiative: Enabling and Amplifying Action for Civic Space and Inclusive Democracy, implemented in partnership with CIVICUS.
This hub serves as a centralized resource space for civil society organizations (CSOs), youth groups, women leaders, educators, and community activists across Trincomalee. It is designed to strengthen collective action, enhance digital resilience, and provide practical tools for advocacy and civic engagement.

Our Purpose
The Civic Hub was created to address shrinking civic space and strengthen the capacity of grassroots organizations to operate safely and effectively in a challenging environment. By providing a secure, accessible, and inclusive digital space, the hub empowers CSOs and community groups to:
Protect themselves from digital threats.
Advocate for human rights, gender equality, and inclusive democracy.
Mobilize communities through collective action.
Amplify the voices of women, youth, and marginalized groups.
Who Can Use the Hub?
The Civic Hub is open to all member organizations of the Trinco Civic Forum and participants from our workshops. It is particularly designed to support grassroots CSOs, youth leaders, women advocates, and community groups who are driving democratic participation in Trincomalee.
Together for a Stronger Civic Space
Through this hub, we aim to build resilient, connected, and empowered communities that can reclaim and expand civic space, even in the face of digital and political challenges.
